
All managers and coaches will need to be certified by the National Alliance for Youth Sports. This is the same procedure as last year. This will apply to anyone that is on the field for the team.

- Enter your NYSCA member identification number located on your membership card. Important: Be sure to include the MBR- if MBR- is a part of your member ID# on your card.
- Your last name is your password. If you are already an online member – this may be a different login procedure.
If you are still having trouble, or do not know your NYSCA membership number, please fill out the form below or call the Member Services Department at (800) 729-2057, Monday – Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. eastern time.
Any manager or coach that is not a member can choose to take the online training or the live class that will be set up in mid March. The online link is:

REGISTRATION – Registration will be open until Sunday, February 21st at 1:00 PM. Registration is open to any child, turning 5 in any part of 2010 and at most, 12 on (or prior to) April 30th. One may register by the following ways:
- Mail the attached registration form along with a check or money order only - NO CASH to:
Decatur National DYB, PO Box 2675 Decatur, AL 35602-2675. Mailed forms must be postmarked by February 16, 2010.
- Register in person on Monday, February 1st, 2010 between 5:30-7:30 PM at T.C. Almon.
- Register in person on Saturday, February 6th between 9:30 AM – 12:00 Noon at T.C. Almon
- Register in person on Monday, February 8th between 5:30-7:30 PM at T.C. Almon.
Registration forms will not be accepted after 1:00 pm on Sunday, February 21st.
FEES – The registration fees this year will be: $75.00 one player per family.
$125.00 Two players per family.
$140.00 Three players per family (maximum charge)
The registration fees will continue to cover the cost of the uniform (hat & shirt). Each player will also be required purchase their uniform pants. Each child will also be required to participate in our fundraiser.
TRYOUTS - It will be very important for all players to be at the tryouts. This will be held according to the following schedule, at the Point Mallard Fields. Age Group is decided based on player age on April 30, 2010. Make-up tryouts on Saturday 2/27/10 at 9:30 AM for all ages. No tryouts for t-ball

Children will be contacted shortly after the draft. Coaches will determine practice schedules during the draft.
INDIVIDUAL AND TEAM PHOTOS - Specific date and time to be announced. We will try to get these accomplished prior to opening day.
OPENING DAY – All teams will be participating in games on opening day, Saturday March 20th. The annual parade will start at Eastwood Elementary at 9:00 AM. A full day of activities including games and player introductions are planned.
MAKE-UP GAMES – All cancelled games (rain-outs, etc.) will be made up on the earliest possible date (normally the Saturday following the cancellation). They will be scheduled in the same order as originally scheduled unless special arrangements are approved. Game times will be determined based on weather and field conditions.
COACHES, TEAM MOTHERS, AND PARENT INVOLVEMENT – Dixie Youth Baseball is an independent organization dedicated to the sports education of our children. Please remember that the success of our program every year is totally dependent on VOLUNTEERS giving their time. Parental involvement is essential to continue our program. If you are interested in coaching, please attend our coaches’ meeting or contact a board member. If you can serve as a team mother, please notify your child’s coach.
